Initial 30-minute consultation:

This establishes your basic personal parameters, your health/medical status, your weight history and your specific goals. We will ask you about your normal day/week and an assessment will be made (against specific markers) as to your level of ‘metabolic animation’ versus ‘metabolic suppression’. (£40.00)

Initial RMR assessment:

This is a sixty-minute assessment that will measure your resting metabolic rate and your metabolic type using state of the art gas exchange analysis equipment. Building on the initial consultation, specific daily calorific parameters will be agreed as well as optimal eating strategies. The data will be used to help improve your ‘animation score’ relative to your ‘suppression score’. You will be sent a full report summarising the assessment figures and findings. (£80.00)

Mid term review consultation:

Typically scheduled for mid way between first and second RMR assessments, it provides an opportunity to review prescriptions and make amendments based on your experience and feedback. Both your ‘animation’ and ‘suppression’ scores will be revised. (£40.00)

Secondary RMR assessment retest:

After a period of 4-6 months, this second measurement is designed to measure the improvement to your base line metabolic rate (and your improved metabolic animation rating) as a result of the ideas and prescriptions discussed and put into place since your initial assessment. Evaluation at this point will help plan the best way forward to ensure continuing progression and improvement. (£80.00)
